Teaming up with Jacques Koeweiden in the early 90’s, Paul Postma’s first design agency Koeweiden Postma was created. They decidedly integrated advertising and design, always aiming for the best result while making no distinction between well paid assignments and pro bono work. Starting up purely as a graphic design agency, seeking a perfect fusion between function, idealism, pleasure and professionalism, recognition soon followed and resulted in various national and international awards.
As more assignments involved the creation and positioning of brands, Koeweiden Postma developed identities for new and powerful market players like Dutchtone as well as for Dutch ministries and many cultural organizations with stature, fulfilling a strategic role in their client’s communication strategy.
Taking pleasure in developing identities that include the total media range and anticipating on the growing importance of moving image, Paul Postma specialised in motion graphics; Leaders for films and events, animated logo’s, commercials, intertwining the art of direction and design. In 2004, Paul Postma established Motiondesign. The rest is history.
